Legacywyse has been named the 2026 Next Gen: Future of Finance winner by Human Finance Awards.

The category recognizes a new financial product or operating model that solves a need established systems do not serve well. For Legacywyse, that need is estate settlement.

Why This Work Matters

After someone dies, an executor may become responsible for securing property, gathering records, paying expenses, communicating with beneficiaries, and distributing what remains.

That work often depends on disconnected systems. Executors move between court documents, bank branches, phone calls, spreadsheets, paper files, and email threads. They are expected to keep accurate records while learning an unfamiliar legal and financial process.

Why We Built Legacywyse

We have seen estate settlement from both sides, as family members sorting through paperwork and as professionals handling assets.

The process asks too much of people at the wrong moment. Families should not have to learn probate alone or assemble a working financial system from paper folders, spreadsheets, and repeated phone calls.

Legacywyse exists to give first-time executors a clearer place to begin and one place to keep the work organized.

What Comes Next

We have so much more work to do. We are grateful that Human Finance Awards recognized both the problem and the approach we are taking to solve it.

If you are handling an estate in Texas, Legacywyse can help you understand the likely path, organize the records, prepare supported documents, and keep the work in one place.
