The problem

Most of an estate gets settled between your meetings.

An executor spends months on tasks, forms, and deadlines, usually for the first time. You usually only see what goes wrong when it's too late to fix.

Most executors don't know which deadlines apply until it's too late.

With Legacywyse

Every client's deadlines sit in one list, with anything past due flagged.

You email or call for updates, and the answer is often a guess.

With Legacywyse

Check where any estate stands yourself, whenever you need to.

Complex court forms invite mistakes, and the back-and-forth wastes time.

With Legacywyse

Review their draft documents and correct mistakes early.

How it works

Your client does the work. You stay in the loop.

Legacywyse gives your client the plan, the dates, and the court forms for their probate path. Sharing with you takes one invitation.

  1. Step 1

    Invite your client

Enter their name and email, and add a note if you like. The invitation shows your name, firm, and license details. The link works for 14 days.

  2. Step 2

    They choose to share

Before accepting, your client sees exactly what you'll see and what stays private. They sign in or create a free account, then accept.

  3. Step 3

    You follow along

Their estate appears on your dashboard and updates as they work. We email you when they accept.

What you see

Every client's estate, in six views.

Open any client from your dashboard. The figures and statuses come from the same rules your client's own pages use, so you're both looking at the same estate.

The estate at a glance: who died, where the case is, which probate path it's on, and what your client is doing next.

Deadlines across every client

One list of every client's dates, grouped into past due, the next 7 days, the next 30 days, and later. Dates that are waiting on your client get their own group.

Invitations you can track

See who hasn't replied, resend an invitation, or withdraw one. If an email fails to send, the invitation says so.

Privacy

Your clients control what they share.

Shared with you
  • Plan progress and the next task
  • Key dates, with past-due flags
  • Court forms and their status
  • Documents your client uploads
  • Estate value totals
Stays private
  • Account numbers and balances
  • Transactions
  • Inventory items and their values
  • Family Review responses
  • SageAI conversations

Who it's for

Built for the people executors call first.

  1. Estate attorneys

See which court forms are drafted, signed, or done before a hearing, and catch a missed notice before the court does.

  2. CPAs

See gross assets, liabilities, and net estate as your client enters them, and open the statements they upload when you prepare the estate's returns.

  3. Financial advisors

Stay involved while the family settles the estate. Progress and net estate value sit on your dashboard, so distribution doesn't catch you by surprise.

Questions

What advisors ask us.

Can I change anything in my client's estate?
No. Access is view-only. Your client does the work in Legacywyse, and you see a summary of it.
Does my client have to pay?
No. Your client can settle the estate on the free Standard plan. Some tools, like Autopilot video inventory, need Pro.
What if my client already uses Legacywyse?
They sign in from your invitation and accept it. The estate they've already started is the one you'll see.
What happens if an invitation expires?
Resend it from your Invitations page. Resending sends a fresh link and turns off the old one.
Can my client stop sharing?
Yes, at any time, from Settings in their account. Your access ends right away. They can also see each time you opened their summary or a document.
